You can't make her happy. You don't belong in any group. Maybe you don't even have a true soulmate for your quadrants- it would make sense, like this. And then serendipity brought those two together, meaning there's nothing left for you.

So what can you do? You can object, and this will go nowhere, and you'll be the obstacle in front of her happiness. Or you can let it go, let Terezi have this, and... then what? You'll just have to bottle everything up until you hit your breaking point. And then... who knows. You will be miserable the whole time, but which way will make you worse?

You can't bear to make Terezi unhappy. And you can't bear to share with this guy.

You should have known better. After all, 'love' is a human concept, one that you seemed to have discovered on your own. But that's not right for trolls. Trolls don't have relationships based on love. You had forgotten that, in your delusions of happiness.
